Needlework Over a period of time, due to exposure to the elements, most embroidered laces and needlework get destroyed.
However, it is now possible for heirloom and antique handmade laces to have a customized restoration and be revitalized to their original appearance.
Some restorers have many years experience in lace making, such as crochet, tatting, netting, bobbin lace and other needle arts, and have developed a nearly invisible technique for restoring handmade laces.
Tattered or moth eaten holes or broken threads will seem to disappear, and the lace will be made whole once more.
